Masterchef

Amongst other things we made these outsize knife fork and plate for the boys at Masterchef, pleased to see they cleaned the plate, bit of a squeeze in two days ,such are the times.

Award

Congratulations to Anja Kirschner and David Panos, their film 'the empty plan' won the 2011 JARMAN PRIZE. It gains the recognition it deserves Anja and David being hard working, amiable, bright and a pleasure to work with.

Eclectic mix

What an interesting couple of weeks in our varied work life. Variety being creatively inspiring each discipline informing another and helping us to stay fresh and energetic. So started with a music video for Band of Skulls involving a bit of 1970's retro styling and some really good fight sequences. Next two days later, an art film directed by Simon Martin called 'louis ghost chair' looking at the classic design of the Louis xv armchair and its echoes and spin-offs. The week then ended with a photo shoot for a Swedish South Korean classical pianist called HJ Lim looking to try and shoot up to five album covers in a day.

Piercing Brightness

Just finished the film and the results are pretty good. Was fun to do, nice crew, good locations , hard work hard play just how it should be, have recovered rested and now have a few irons in the fire for more work, looking forward to Christmas!?

Royal Wedding

By contrast to previous post got together with two soap royals for this gag for the Suns Buzz magazine. All done in the best possible taste.

Art film

Had an excellent few days in Bristol working with artist Maryam Jafri on her latest film project, working title Avalon. Challenging subject matter as you can see from this picture.
